So I decided it might be a good idea to do a blog while over in SA. The SA website (www.heart4capetown.com) already has a blog. However, I thought it might be best for me to create one specifically about our little family. I know my mother and sisters will appreciate this since their first niece/grandbaby is spending most of her first year and half in SA. I am not really sure where this could go. I might go crazy and become an addict or I could make this look like the worst blog ever. Trust me, I'm capable of both. :)
I decided to use the title "Daring to Pursue" because I felt like God has given us such big imaginations to dream and to go and pursue it. When you feel God whisper things to your heart and awaken the deepest dreams, its a BIG risk to go after it. So I just felt like and hope my family and I will always dare to pursue the greatest of God.
Just a quick few things about our trip and Ryann.
-After finding out we need to apply for our temporary Residence Visas in the USA we had to delay our departure to Cape Town to a week and half. We planned on leaving the 22nd. Then it got push back to the 24th. Then pushed back to the 26th! I'm done being here and just waiting. LETS GO! So for now, we are leaving Tuesday, August 26th.
I keep remembering that verse where we are commanded to wait on the Lord. Wow, who knew that when we know we are suppose to go and have everything all ready, that we would be commanded to wait. AND we are suppose to wait patiently too. Gosh, I need help there.
- Recently, Ryann is up on all fours and is constantly getting frustrated with not being able to get exactly where she wants to go. She likes to make all kinds of noises including little screeches. She's such a joy in our life.
I guess that'll be it for this very first post. Interesting.
